The Stage 2 tune is designed for those vehicles with a larger intercooler and uprated intake and exhaust. The Stage 2 is designed to push the performance envelope that the stock turbocharger is capable of delivering and gives a very nice increase in torque and horsepower across the entire RPM range. Typical performance increases range from 45 to 55 HP, and 75 to 85 ft.lbs of increased torque. These variation depend on the vehicle model and any additional modifications installed. N14’s generally see the larger increase in HP and N18’s the large torque increase. For the F56 you can expect increases of 90 HP and 105 ft.lbs of torque. Each Stage includes three performance maps so you can pick and choose your power level from daily driver to track toy. Due to the wide range of models in the BMW F & G Series, power gains can range as high as 100 HP and 135 ft.lbs of torque. Feel free to email for specifics regarding your Series.
Various optimizations can also be requested to tailor the Stage 2 to fit your needs. Methanol injection, extra pops and burbles in the exhaust as well as a linear throttle response are available. Include your request in the notes section. These customization’s will increase the cost of the tune but will not exceed $100. Depending on Stage X Handheld applicability each Stage can include three performance maps so you can pick and choose your power level and the options you want activated.
